The wireless provider announced that customers on the T-Mobile One plan will no longer pay extra for monthly wireless service fees and taxes if they opt-in online.
So the $70 a month unlimited plan for a single line will actually cost just $70 a month.
According to theΒ Tax Foundation, nearly 18% of the average U.S. wireless customer’s bill now goes to federal, state and local fees — the highest level ever.

T-Mobile will be absorbing the cost of those taxes and regulatory fees for eligible customers. Late fees are not included.
Γ’β¬ΕWireless consumers pay billions extra every year in added surcharges, taxes, monthly fees and carrier price hikes. It’s reached epidemic proportions! And, the carriers just keep inventing new ways to make their customers pay. So, the Un-carrier’s putting an end to it,Γ’β¬Β said John Legere, T-Mobile president and CEO.

T-Mobile said customers on the plan who use less than 2 GB of data per month will get up to a $10 credit on their next bill per line, and the carrier is promising not to increase prices.
