Save big on flights to Norway!
Scott’s Cheap Flights just posted a deal for flights to Oslo, Norway starting in the $200s round-trip via Norwegian Airlines. Availability includes March through May and late August through January, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve!
But there is a catch to this deal: You’ll need to use the Norwegian Airlines’ Norwegian-language site. To translate the website to English, use Google Chrome, right-click anywhere on the page, and click “Translate to English”. And then, to find the cheapest flight dates, search the flex-month fare calendar, called “Vis Lavpriskalender”.
Fares to Norway normally run about $750 or more, so if you end up buying these you’ll save several hundred dollars. You’ll want to hurry if you want to grab this deal! Scott says he thinks these flights will last a few days, maybe less. If you don’t live near a city that has a deal, search for a cheap flight from the city closest to you, and see if it’s still a deal altogether.
To convert the currency on Norwegian’s website, you can use Google Currency Converter. One U.S. dollar equals 8.60 Norwegian Krone, so a flight for 1 199 Norwegian Krone would be $139.99 U.S. dollars. Though you could search flights using Google Flights, (shown in the example above), you’ll save more using the Norwegian Airlines’ Norwegian-language site.
- Boston (BOS) – $243
- Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) – $324
- Los Angeles (LAX) – $278
- New York City (JFK) – $278
- Oakland (OAK) – $278
- Orlando (MCO) – $301
Note that Norwegian charges $45 per bag each way, but if you want to check a bag, choose your own seat and take advantage of the “Nice & Tasty menu,” select the “LowFare+” option. This will run you about $60 extra each way.
