Enjoy the British Virgin Islands from $162 a day!
A Carribean Bucket List adventure is to spend a week sailing the stunning British Virgin Islands aboard an intimate catamaran from Tortola.
The BVIs are low-key, laid-back and gorgeous to sail and explore. A fully-licensed skipper sails the state-of-the-art 47-foot catamaran to secluded coves, beautiful snorkeling spots, and uninhabited islands.
This sailing adventure is ideal for a group of eight – or families (minimum age 16+), couples, or groups of friends and bachelor and bachelorette gatherings. The accommodations include four double bed cabins, each with ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning.
Here’s what the week looks like with a G Adventures BVI cruise:
Arrive to Scrub Island to meet the skipper and stock the boat with food and drink you desire for the week (extra expense*). However, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared each sailing day by the crew.
Days 2-6 are spent exploring the islands, fishing for lunch or dinner, snorkeling deep caves and along reefs, enjoying an impromptu beach party, hikes to secluded spots and taking in the evening sunsets.
Following breakfast, on Day 7 you’ll return back to Scrub Island to disembark.
- Snorkeling equipment
- Bath and beach towels
G Adventures offers six winter departure dates at these per person rates (based on two minimum staying together):
January 12 and 19, $1,259
February 16, $1,169
March 8, 15, 22, $1,137
These rates represent a savings of 30-35% and are valid on bookings made by December 31.
*Meals on board are additional. G Adventures suggests to factor in about $60 more per day/per person for meals and basics such as snacks, water, and beverages.
Airfare is additional. The folks at G Adventures can assist with air arrangments. You’ll fly into St. Thomas and then catch a ferry from Red Hook USVI to Scrub Island (just over an hour) to meet the skipper.
