Right now at Barnes & Noble, kids can earn a free book through the Summer Reading Program. To get this deal, simply print out this Summer Reading Journal for kids in grades 1 through 6. Students can read any 8 books over the summer and record them using the title and author in the journal. They’ll also have to share their favorite part of the book and why they enjoyed it. After the 8 books are read and recorded, return the Summer Reading Journal between August 1 and August 31 to any Barnes & Noble store. From there, your child can select his or her free book! The full list of available free books for each grade level is listed on the first page of the journal.
