It seems like every year our paychecks have a harder time keeping up with rising prices. But while there’s no stopping inflation, there are some things that may be less expensive in 2017 if you find the right deals!

Whether you’re looking for a new TV, buying a family car or just picking up a few groceries, here are six items you can save some money on.

1. Sedans and subcompact cars

Despite an increase in gas prices at the end of 2016, drivers are continuing to buy SUVs, trucks and crossovers. So while it may be harder to get a deal on one of those vehicles, some sedans and subcompact cars are being heavily discounted. In fact, some experts have speculated that the family sedan is a dying breed. So if you’re willing to buy a traditional car, expect to find great deals on models that are two or three years old.

2. 4K TVs

Remember when 4K TVs used to cost thousands of dollars? Those days are gone! For example, the Clark Deals team spotted a 49 inch Avera 4K Ultra HDTV from Walmart for $249. And did you know that the resolution on these 4K TVs is so good that some dogs and cats even like to watch? If you want to buy one, look for great deals around the Super Bowl.

3. Select groceries

The USDA Economic Research Service expects supermarket prices to rise slightly in 2017, but that doesn’t mean the price of everything will go up. As you probably know, it can be hard to keep up with food prices. For instance, a nationwide avocado shortage caused prices to spike in October 2016, but everything was back to normal a few weeks later. Assuming normal weather conditions, the USDA says you can expect to pay less for these supermarket staples in 2017:

• Beef and veal: 1% to 2% decrease
• Eggs: 3% to 4% decrease
• Fats and oils: 3% to 4% decrease
• Fresh vegetables: 2% to 3% decrease

4. Some Apple products

Want a new MacBook? You may want to hold off for a few months. MacRumors.com has cited predictions from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that a price cut is coming for new and existing MacBooks, but you’ll have to wait until the second half of the year. In the meantime, check out a little-known section of Apple’s website that sells certified refurbished products, including MacBooks, iPads and iPhones.

5. Cell phone data

Clark says that if you don’t shop around for a better cell phone plan every 18 months, you’re probably paying too much! In late 2016, several carriers began offering “unlimited” data plans for around $60 a month. However, most of us don’t really need that much data, especially with Wi-Fi practically everywhere. That’s where low-cost carriers come in, with some of them offering 100% free service and others charging about $25 a month. Switching to a no-contract provider is relatively low risk because you can always cancel. In fact, your old carrier may even offer an incentive for you to come back.

6. Airfare

Great news for budget travelers! If you plan to fly in 2017, you can expect lower ticket prices and more flight options, according to a new study released by Expedia and Airlines Reporting Corporation. Ticket prices are at their lowest point since 2013. Traditional airlines are also beginning to introduce cheaper “basic economy” seats for travelers who are strictly looking for the best price possible.

Two categories to watch: Clothing and housewares

Looking ahead to 2017, it could be a difficult year for department stores. 2016 certainly was. With analysts predicting more store closures as shopping patterns shift to online retailers like Amazon, we may see a continuation of the heavy promotions on clothing and housewares that took place during the holiday shopping season. But before you buy something at a department store because the tag says 50% off, use your smartphone to do a price check while in the store. You may find the same item for less online.
