BYOCup Day at 7-Eleven: Fill whatever you want with Slurpee for just $1.50!

Start the weekend out right with a super awesome Slurpee deal at 7-Eleven! Bring in whatever cup (or object) you want and fill it full of Slurpee for just a buck and a half!

It’s BYO Cup Day(s)!

The company says last year’s BYO Cup Day was such a hit that it decided to add a second day this year.

So in honor of the frozen drink’s 50th birthday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 7-Eleven is allowing customers to bring in their own cup and fill it with any flavor Slurpee for just $1.50 — the typical price of a medium size Slurpee.

And while your cup can be a lot bigger than the store’s medium size, there are a few limitations — so people don’t go too crazy (think baby pools and trash bags). Apparently last year got a little out of hand…

This year, the cup can’t be bigger than 10 inches tall and must be “leak-proof, safe and sanitary” (again, no trash bags).

“Last year’s BYOCup Day was a huge hit, and because this year is the big Slurpee Fiftee celebration, we added a second day so more people can get in on the fun,” Laura Gordon, 7-Eleven vice president of marketing and brand innovation, said in a statement.

“We saw just how creative Slurpee fans can get during the first BYOCup Day. They filled drums, kettles, fishbowls, helmets and teapots. I can’t wait to see what they bring this year.”
