Daily deal sites that target small businesses as their customers are thriving at a time when consumer-focused sites like GroupOn and LivingSocial are slowing.
Rewardli.com, OrderWithMe.com, and GroupPrice.com are three sites operating in the B2B (business-to-business) daily deal space.
Each has its own area selling merchant product or services. So you sign up and get daily or weekly deal e-mails, just like you would with a Groupon or LivingSocial. You typically have between 5 and 10 days to take advantage of an offer.
In the case of OrderWithMe, they go out there and act like broker for you to order production runs of material you need for your business. It could be good savings for you!
Meanwhile, while the traditional daily deal sites for consumers like GroupOn are struggling, there’s one that’s not. A company called ScoutMob has a different business model. While everybody else requires you to buy the deal upfront, ScoutMob just tells you about the deal. You don’t pay up any money until you redeem it. So instead of paying now for the option of something you may or may not get around to using, you only purchase the deal at the time you’re about to use it.
