My daughters love Instagram and Vine for the ability to send out short video clips from their phones. But nowย MixBit.com, a third competitor from the founders of YouTube, is about to enter the marketspace.
MixBit allows you to shoot on an iPhone (Android version is coming soon) and then edit raw video into a polished product before sending out a short clip. Each clip is 16 seconds long and you can sequence several clips to make a longer piece.
So you can append 4 clips and make into a minutelong รขโฌลmini film,รขโฌย or 8 clips to make a 2-minute short, and on and on. You get the idea.
MixBit gives you a way to have full video editing capability on your phone to make your own movie shorts — instead of just a little clip. It just goes to show you how quickly things are changing as technology moves at lightning speed.
I’ve watched the march of technology with my own son who used to be dangerously addicted to his Nintendo 3DS. Now he doesn’t even know where that thing is because all he plays with is an Android tablet! He has an $89 Asus MeMO that offers more versatility, a bigger screen, and a lot of free games.
In fact, this Christmas will be the first time you’ll see many high quality Android tablets for less than $99!
