Look for the “Flash Find” when you first enter

Located prominently as soon as you step inside the store, you’ll find the weekly “Flash Find” special.

The deal I found was 7.5 foot crank and tilt umbrella for your patio table marked down to $24.99.

Each week, At Home offers a top pick for your home at a very low price. But act fast! You only have one week to get each deal before it changes.

Know your markdown colors

Throughout the store, you’ll see items on markdown that are color-coded in a simple way.

A green stripe through an item’s barcode means 25% off, and a red stripe means 50% off!

Every section has a clearance aisle

At Home stores are firmly in the “big box” category. We’re talking floor plans of between 90,000 and 115,000 square feet per store.

Rather than locating its clearance section in one area of the store, At Home has dedicated clearance aisles in every section of the store. Just look for the red “clearance” signage on the end cap.

Buy a gift card from a reseller

This is a trick that applies to pretty much any retailer that offers gift cards!

Sites like CardPool.com and GiftCardGranny.com will resell them at a discount from their face value. The sellers are people who have the gift cards but don’t want them.

This can be a great way to get a gift card for yourself or someone else without paying full price!
