A recent report from GasBuddy shows that Monday offers the lowest average gas price in most of the United States. However, you don’t need to limit yourself to one day a week to save! There are plenty of ways to save on gas as well as other purchases such as groceries and household essentials. Below are some of the best discounts offered on gas right now. - Amazon: Through the Amazon Rewards Visa Signature® Card card, you can earn 10% back at gas stations and 3% back at grocery stores and restaurants for every dollar you spend on up to $1,500 in combined purchases. Register here by December 31 to activate. Note that this is available for select cardholders.
- BJ’s Wholesale: Right now through October 12, members can save 10 cents per eligible product they buy. (Save up to 2 cents below the current gas price) Check this month’s flier in stores or in your mailbox for more details.
- BP: If you fill up at BP gas stations, you can save 5 cents per gallon, with BPme Rewards. This deal is for your first month of membership. If you spend $100 on fuel per month, you can continue saving 5 cents on every gallon!
- Chevron Texaco: You can save up to $1 off per gallon when you sign up for its rewards program and fill up at Chevron or Texaco! You will receive 1000 bonus points to use toward this deal when you sign up. You can use this deal on your first three visits, or up to 25 gallons. Plus, you can check out other offers to earn you extra fuel points.

- Publix: On occasion, this grocer will offer $10 off a $50 gas gift card with a spend of $50 or more on groceries. You can also save extra with Club Publix!
- Sam’s Club: You get 5% cash back on the first $6,000 you spend in a year on gas with the Sam’s Club credit card. If you’re not a Sam’s Club member and you want to be, this deal saves $45 after the $45 membership cost. That’s like getting a new membership for $0!
- T-Mobile: This mobile carrier offers weekly deals every Tuesday which often include 10 cents off at Shell stations. Download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app to get these deals.
- Upside: Earn an extra $0.25/gallon with coupon code AFF25 on your first receipt.
- Walmart: Shoppers can save up to 10 cents per gallon at Exxon, Mobil, Walmart & Murphy stations with a Walmart+ membership. You’ll also get access to member prices at Sam’s Club fuel centers.
