Apple Music discount: 50% off for college students

Apple Music boasts over 13 million paid subscribers. But they’re on the hunt for more. And that hunt has led to the biggest Apple Music discount that we’ve seen (besides the free trial offer). But there is a catch. The deal is limited to college students though and you must be part of an “eligible college or university.” This discount applies to students in the USA, Australia, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, New Zealand and the UK. On another note, Apple Music is changing their design to be more simplistic and user friendly.

Spotify offers the same student discount on their Spotify Premium service and charges the same discounted monthly rate of $4.99.

Of note: Open to everyone, not just college students, is a free three month trial of Apple Music.
