The National Park Service is celebrating its 103rd birthday by waving the entrance fees to all 419 national parks and sites this Sunday. That means you and your family can explore your nearest park for free! There’s at least 1 National Park System site in each state. Whether you’ve been a hundred times before or you just haven’t had the time to go yet, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of! Still, if you aren’t able to make the trip this weekend, there are 2 more remaining free-entrance days this year. Those days will be in honor of National Public Lands Day on September 18 and Veterans Day on November 11. Note that additional activities (including camping) may still come with a fee.
Note that free admission is only available on Sunday, August 25!
