Veterans Day is here, a day in which we remember and honor those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. Although we can never express our gratitude enough, many companies are providing free or discounted goods and services to both veterans and active-duty service members as a small token of appreciation. Here is a list of some of the best deals being offered throughout the week in honor of Veterans Day.

Food and restaurant deals for veterans

  • Applebee’s: On November 11, all veterans and active military can receive free meals at participating Applebee’s locations. Must show proof of military service. Beverage and gratuity not included. Dine-in only.
  • BJ’s Restaurant: Veterans and active military receive a complimentary entrée worth up to $14.95 and a free Dr. Pepper beverage with a military ID. Offer good November 11 only for dine-in service.
  • Bob Evans: Veterans and active military can receive one of 7 free menu items on November 11. Must show proof of military service or come dressed in military uniform. Dine-in only.
  • California Pizza Kitchen: All veterans and active military are eligible for a free entrée from a special Veterans Day menu at California Pizza Kitchen. Dine-in only. Must be in uniform or show proof of service. Valid November 11.
  • Cracker Barrel: All U.S. military veterans can get a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake when dining at any Cracker Barrel location nationwide on November 11.
  • Chili’s: On November 11, veterans and active military members can get a free meal from a special menu with a valid military ID. Dine-in only.
  • Dunkin’ Donuts: Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free donut on Wednesday, November 11, no purchase necessary.
  • Famous Dave’s: All former and current military personnel get a free Georgia chopped pork sandwich plus a side on November 11. Valid for dine-in, to go and online ordering. Use code VETERAN at checkout at Must present valid proof of service.
  • Golden Corral: Active or former military members who have served in the U.S. Military can pick up a promotional card during the month of November redeemable for a FREE “Thank You” Meal! Promotional cards are redeemable from November 1, 2020 – May 31, 2021 for dine-in only, Monday-Thursday.
  • Krispy Kreme: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is offering veterans a free doughnut of choice and coffee on November 11.
  • Logan’s Roadhouse: All vets and military personnel can take their pick of 8 hearty meals with 2 sides from 3-6 pm on Veterans Day. Proof of service required. Menu may vary by location.
  • Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt: Veterans can enjoy their first 6 ounces of froyo free on November 11!
  • Red Lobster: All active and retired military personnel can receive a free appetizer or dessert from a special menu on November 11. Must show proof of service to redeem offer.
  • Red Robin: Veterans and active military who are Red Robin Royalty members (sign up at no cost) can get a FREE Tavern Double Burger with Steak Fries any time between 11/12 and 11/30 for dine-in or to-go.
  • Ruby Tuesday: Active duty military members and veterans can get a free sandwich with fries or tots. Show your military ID to get this deal!
  • Shoney’s: All active and retired military with valid military ID are welcome to a free all-you-can-eat breakfast on November 11 from 6-11am.
  • Starbucks: Starbucks is honoring those who serve with a free tall hot brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses on November 11 at participating U.S. Starbucks stores.

Free admission for veterans

  • 9/11 Memorial and Museum: Take a live, interactive tour through the Museum’s key spaces providing a deeper understanding of 9/11, the lead-up to the attacks and their continuing global significance on November 11 at 11 a.m. EST.
  • Aquarium of the Pacific: Free admission on Veterans Day for veterans and military personnel with military ID. Advance reservations required. Limited capacity.

  • Harley-Davidson Museum: On November 11-12, Harley-Davidson Museum® will offer free Museum entry for all active Military, veterans and their families.
  • Mount Vernon: Free admission for military/veterans on November 11 from 9am to 4pm.
  • National Parks: Get fee-free entrance on November 11. This is for everyone! In addition, ALL Veterans & Gold Star Families will be granted free access to national parks, wildlife refuges and other Federal lands managed by the Department of the Interior starting on Veterans Day, November 11, and every day onward.   • National WWII Museum: Veterans get free admission on November 11.

  • Thomas Jefferson Monticello: Free admission for veterans on November 11. Admission for active-duty military personnel is free year-round.
  • USS Midway Museum: Free admission for active military and veterans on November 11.
  • Veteran Ticket Foundation: This is a way for veterans to receive free tickets to events!
  • World of Coca-Cola: Admission is free year-round for veterans and active military, but those customers can purchase up to 4 World of Coca-Cola general admission tickets at half-price for their friends and family from November 2-12.
