T.J. Maxx doesn’t advertise doorbuster deals on Black Friday like the major department stores, but savvy shoppers know there’s never a bad day to search for bargains at off-price retailers.

According to T.J. Maxx,Β all of its merchandise is priced up to 60% below department store regular prices every day.

12 inexpensive Christmas gift ideas at T.J. MaxxΒ

When I recently stopped by T.J. Maxx, store associates were busy setting up the seasonal department with Christmas decorations, gift baskets, children’s toys and other holiday must-haves.

I was able to spot a few unique gift ideas that would be great for the person on your list who already has everything!

Although your local T.J. Maxx or Marshalls (both owned by TJX Companies Inc.) won’t necessarily have the exact same items that I found, it may be worth stopping by to see what’s new.

Here are 12 of the best holiday gifts at T.J. Maxx for Christmas 2017:

Beer tasting party kit

Beer isn’t included, but this $14.99 kit has everything else you need to host a beer tasting party in your own home. This gift would go along great with a couple of 6-packs!

Bath bombs

Fizzing bath bombs make a nice stocking stuffer. I recently saw another retailer advertise them for $8, but they’re just $2.99 each at T.J. Maxx.

Hot chocolates on a spoon

I walked by an entire table loaded with coffee, tea and hot chocolate gifts, but this set of hot chocolates on a spoon really caught my eye β€” and it’s only $5.99.

What will they think of next? When I saw this bag of Christmas pasta for $2.99, I had to buy it. You could pick up some pasta sauce, olive oil and seasoning to make your own gift basket.

Money origami

I think I found the perfect gift for money expert Clark Howard. T.J. Maxx sells this money origami kit for $9.99, which is about $3 less than Amazon.

The best time to shop at T.J. Maxx is…Β

T.J. Maxx is closed on Thanksgiving Day, but it will be open for the Black Friday madness.

If you’re anything like me, you don’t like to fight the holiday crowds at the malls and shopping centers. That’s why I always go to T.J. Maxx during the middle of the week, usually at off-peak hours.

From my experience, it’s easier to find the real bargains when there are fewer shoppers in the store.
