According to T.J. Maxx, all of its merchandise is priced up to 60% below department store regular prices every day.

When I recently stopped by T.J. Maxx, store associates were busy setting up the seasonal department with Christmas decorations, gift baskets, children’s toys and other holiday must-haves.

I was able to spot a few unique gift ideas that would be great for the person on your list who already has everything!

Although your local T.J. Maxx or Marshalls (both owned by TJX Companies Inc.) won’t necessarily have the exact same items that I found, it may be worth stopping by to see what’s new.

From control of the remote to peace and quiet, this $3.99 booklet of vouchers for family or friends is a non-material gift that gives 20 times!

Special edition games

T.J. Maxx has a table full of special edition board games. These vintage bookshelf editions of Monopoly, Clue and Scrabble are $24.99, 10 bucks less than Amazon.

Christmas pasta

What will they think of next? When I saw this bag of Christmas pasta for $2.99, I had to buy it. You could pick up some pasta sauce, olive oil and seasoning to make your own gift basket.

Money origami

I think I found the perfect gift for money expert Clark Howard. T.J. Maxx sells this money origami kit for $9.99, which is about $3 less than Amazon.

If you’re looking for a food basket that won’t break the bank, T.J. Maxx has under $30 gift ideas for chocolate lovers, snack lovers, pasta lovers and more!

Holiday candles

T.J. Maxx is a great place to buy candles for a fraction of the retail price, especially around the holidays. These large festive candles are priced at $7.99 each. The snow globes start at $14.99.

Here’s something for your friends in sunny Florida! I’ve seen more of these indoor snowball fight kits in stores lately. This 15-piece kit costs just $5.99.

This Philosophy gift set sells for $32 (the price on the box) at several major retailers, but it’s just $19.99 at T.J. Maxx. Also check for deals on cologne and perfume.

Have a friend or family member who’s not in the Christmas spirit? Here’s the coffee mug for them! I saw dozens of holiday mugs, most either $2.99 or $3.99.

T.J. Maxx is closed on Thanksgiving Day, but it will be open for the Black Friday madness.

If you’re anything like me, you don’t like to fight the holiday crowds at the malls and shopping centers. That’s why I always go to T.J. Maxx during the middle of the week, usually at off-peak hours.

From my experience, it’s easier to find the real bargains when there are fewer shoppers in the store.
