Stepping a bit up in price point, Ace Hardware offers its store brand Living Accents 3-person black steel frame swing for $249.99. Reviewers gave it 4.4 out of 5 stars and noted, “The swing is amazing. It is comfortable and the canopy blocks the sun perfectly.” However, the same reviewer also said, “The assembly instructions were very confusing.”
Perhaps that’s because this particular Living Accents model is unique in that it features side tables on both ends of the unit. Meanwhile, compared to a similar swing set at Lowe’s Home Improvement for $298, you’re saving $48.01.
Finally, The Home Depot and Lowe’s are also typically good places to check for patio swings. Ditto for Amazon and eBay when it comes to finding deals.
Use the calendar as your friend when buying a patio swing

The data on these models indicates that February and March are the best times to buy. These three models had low price points of $147.99, $277.50 and $99.98, respectively, during that time frame which coincides with the lead-up to spring.
However, if you’re reading this and want a patio swing right now as we get ready for summer, you might want to consider Lidl.
From May 12 through May 18, this discount grocer is offering a patio swing with canopy for $89.99. Compared to $128.99 for a similar swing at Wayfair, you’re saving $39.
The only drawback with Lidl is their wares are not available online. So you’ll have to find a store and act quickly if you want this great deal. (Note that stock may be limited, so shopping early is advised.)
