T-Mobile is firing back in the latest round of the ongoing wireless wars.
We told you when Verizon reversed its longstanding anti-unlimited stance and announced a truly unlimited plan on Feb. 13.
Now T-Mobile has sweetened the pot on its unlimited offering to ratchet up the competition!

The “Un-carrier” has announced it’s adding HD video and 10 GB of high-speed hotspot data to its $70-a-month unlimited plan.
They’re basically matching Verizon’s new offer which came out of the gate including unlimited HD video. (T-Mobile previously limited video to 480p on their unlimited plan.)
Separately, T-Mobile also introduced an offer of two lines of T-Mobile One for $100 a month, which was previously priced at $120. That’s a great deal for two people!
One thing that’s nice about T-Mobile’s pricing is that includes all taxes and fees, which is unique among the Big 4 carriers.
So $70 a month is truly $70 a month and $100 a month is truly $100 a month. Not a penny more!
Both of these upgrades will be available starting Feb. 17 at no extra charge for customers on T-Mobile ONE. Customers will just need to activate the new features in the T-Mobile app.
T-Mobile no doubt felt emboldened to take Verizon on by the results of the latest OpenSignal report.
That survey found Verizon’s average LTE download speed was 16.89 Mbps, while T-Mobile’s was 16.65 Mbps.
Verizon has a slight edge when it comes to network availability, according to OpenSignal.
Verizon’s LTE network was available 88.17% of the time, while T-Mobile’s was available 86.6% of the time.
But all things considered, those numbers are pretty darn close!
In all the sound and fury in the wireless world, it’s easy for this simple fact to get obscured: The cheapest unlimited offer of all comes from Sprint.
Sprint offer five lines of unlimited data for $90 a month, but it’s a limited-time promotion. Their rate is good through the end of March 2018, at which point you would pay Sprint’s regular rate of $180 for five lines.
