Though it’s not necessary to spend a fortune to get a decent smartphone, many service providers are offering buy one, get one free deals, significantly offsetting the cost.

Note that most of these deals give you the money back on the second phone via bill credits, so if you want to be free to change providers, you might want to steer clear of these offers. Here are the best buy one, get one free deals on smartphones right now!

Best buy one, get one free smartphone deals

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering a buy one, get one free deal on Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy Note8 smartphones via a prepaid MasterCard card with finance agreements and new line of service. This is a savings of up to $820! Note that if you cancel wireless service, the remaining balance at full price is due.

In addition to the Samsung Galaxy 8 deal, T-Mobile is also offering buy one, get one free deals on LG phones. (Also, through December 24, T-Mobile has a BOGO deal on iPhones!)

Verizon

Verizon is also offering a buy one, get one deal on Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphones, or buy a 64GB iPhone 8 smartphone and get one free. The promo credit (up to $699.99 for the iPhone, $756 for the Samsung Galaxy), will be applied to the account over 24 months, and promo credit ends when balance paid or the line is terminated or transferred to another plan. Note that one line must be a new line of service.

AT&T

Not to be outdone by its competitors, AT&T is offering a buy one get one free iPhone 8 deal. This deal requires a new line of service, and you’ll receive up to $700 in credits over 30 months. Additionally, AT&T is offering a buy one, get one free deal on the Samsung Galaxy 8 as well. This also requires a new line of service, and you’ll receive up to $750 in credits over 30 months.

AT&T via Costco

Costco is offering members a promotion whereby you can get $750 toward the purchase of a second Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ or Note8 smartphone via bill credits over 30 months with a new line of service. In addition, you’ll also get a $250 Costco cash card for both devices via mail-in rebate.
