1. 30 hours of nonstop deals

Amazon has decided that 24 hours isn’t long enough for this year’s celebration, so Prime Day deals will start early and be available for 30 hours.

The big shopping day is Tuesday, July 11, but the deals start Monday, July 10 at 9 p.m. ET.

2. Prime Day goes worldwide

Prime Day isn’t just for shoppers in the United States. Amazon says it’s bringing the “best deals of the year” to 13 countries this year:

  1. U.S.
  2. U.K.
  3. Spain
  4. Mexico
  5. Japan
  6. Italy
  7. India
  8. Germany
  9. France
  10. China
  11. Canada
  12. Belgium
  13. Austria

3. Lightning Deals

New deals will go live as often as every five minutes on Prime Day, including popular Lightning Deals that will surely be among the quickest to sell out.

Many of these Lightning Deals will come from independent businesses.

Amazon says small businesses and entrepreneurs on Amazon offering deals to Prime members saw their orders nearly triple year-over-year last Prime Day β€” and this year, nearly 40% of Prime Day Lightning Deals will be sold by them.

4. Need a TV? This is your day to shop

Amazon is promising Ò€œamazingÒ€ TV deals on Prime Day. The e-commerce giant is expecting one of its largest total volume TV deals in history with a record level of inventory.

These offers are likely to be snatched up quickly, so grab them before they’re gone!

5. Prime Day gets personal

To help you quickly find the Prime Day deals that you’re into, Amazon will organize them by more than 20 of the themes that people shop for the most.

In addition, download the Amazon App to set up notifications when deals go live:

  • Go to Ò€œToday’s DealsÒ€
  • Click Ò€œUpcomingÒ€ to view deals 24 hours before they are live
  • Tap Ò€œWatch this dealÒ€

If Alexa is a member of your family, Amazon says there will be more Alexa-exclusive deals available, too!

6. Get $10 to spend on Prime Day

Amazon is offering special promotions in the days leading up to Prime Day, including deals on Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime Video, Kindle Unlimited and Audible.

For example, you can getΒ $10Β to shop onΒ Amazon.comΒ anytime on or before Prime Day when you stream a video included in Prime for the first time on your TV.

Check out the Ò€œMore Prime Day DealsÒ€ section at www.amazon.com/primeday for details.

7. You must be a member

If you’re not already a Prime member, start your 30-day free trial in order to take advantage of Prime Day. An annual Prime membership costs $99, but you can choose to be charged on a monthly basis for $10.99.
