Accommodations will vary by location. But most locations will offer a stay in a 31-foot Airstream. These beauties can sleep three adults, or two adults and two children. There’s heat, AC, high thread linens, “spa-inspired” bathrooms with walk-in rain shower and a spacious vanity area. Just outside is your private patio with a dining area and a fire pit. Select AutoCamp locations that offer dining facilities also offer perks like takeaway grill kits for your private campfire areas and daily happy hours. Kitchenettes are offered in many types of accommodation.
There is the Kitchen & General store at the Joshua Tree, Cape Cod, Yosemite, and Zion locations, where local chefs prepare organic and sustainable ingredients in their meals from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Each AutoCamp location also offers experiences tailored to the opportunities in those areas. For instance, at the Joshua Tree location, you can stargaze with an astronomer (free!) or go on a guided morning hike complete with backcountry espresso ($120 per person). At Yosemite, you can enjoy guided climbing, yoga, and nature therapy. Some locations even offer complimentary mountain bikes.
Luxury tents (select locations and not year-round) campers will enjoy a Tempur-Pedic King mattress, sleeper sofa, heated blankets, cookware and more. A step up from a stay in an AirStream is an X Suite with more space such as a living area, full kitchen and ADA-accessible suites.
There are always ongoing specials. Here are some samples of pricing at the Asheville location:
- Advance purchase rates include an Airsteam Suite for $246 or a Classic Cabin (tiny house) from $277.
- Cabins have a big picture window, a wardrobe, bathroom, kitchen, and living area complete with a flat-screen TV. The spa-inspired bathroom features a large walk-in shower with Ursa Major organic bath products. The kitchen is complete with an electric stovetop, microwave, mini-fridge, and all tableware and BBQ utensils. Enjoy your own private outdoor fire pit and dining area right beside your room.
- Premium BaseCamp Suites are the largest accommodations that sleep up to 6 guests with both an Airstream and a Luxury Tent at one site. From $340 a night.
- The SUMMER24 gets you a night at 50% off when you book at least three consecutive nights. Rates in Asheville range from $250-$390 per night with the discount.
Other deals:
- Book a 4+ night weekday stay at the East Coast locations of Catskills or Cape Cod and enjoy a flat rate starting at $219-$225 a night. This offer does not apply to Fridays and Saturdays, although you may extend your stay at a standard rate.
- Book a 3+ night weekday stay at AutoCamp Russian River, and enjoy a flat rate of $179 a night for Luxury Tents or $259 per night for Classic Airstreams. Not valid Fridays and Saturdays, but you can extend your stay at standard rates.
