Holland America offers kids sail free cruises!

The early bird booker does get the best deals when it comes to cruising!

Case in point: Through September 26, the Holland America Line is offering a kids sail free deal on 2020 Alaska, Europe and Canada or New England cruises during the Who’s in Your Crew? promo. This is an ideal time to book multi-generational reunion trips with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins or friends!

With the kids (ages 2-17) sharing a cabin as third and fourth guests, a family of four sailing on a 7-day Alaska cruise next summer can save up to $2,606 on a suite booking and save from $1,326 for a family of four booking an inside stateroom.

For instance, a 7-day Glacier Discovery sailing aboard Holland’s Noordam is priced at $622 each, or $2,488 total for a family of four. Third and fourth guests pay $250 in port fees and taxes. This May 10 sailing departs from Vancouver and returns to Seward/Anchorage. Included in the total rate is a cabin credit of $400 to use in dining, beverages, shore excursions, spa or shopping.

The Noordam is one of the smaller ships sailing in Alaska with fewer than 2,000 guests. It’s a good choice for families wanting to focus on the destination rather play on waterslides. The fun is on land!

In port, families can choose from a wide array of excursion options like panning for gold, dog-sledding on a glacier, zip-lining, kayaking, whale watching or a crab fisherman’s tour on the famous Aleutian Ballad from Deadliest Catch.

When visiting Glacier Bay National Park, the β€œmust-see” of every visit to Alaska, the young ones can partake in the Junior Ranger Program that lets them interact with National Park Rangers and earn a Junior Ranger Badge.

Alaska cruises will depart every weekend from Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia in 2020.

This new Who’s in Your Crew? promo is also available on select Alaska Land+Sea Journeys for families that want to go deeper into Alaska. Combine the cruise with an overland tour to Denali National Park and the Yukon.

There are some other perks with this offer:

  • Up to $800 in onboard spending money per stateroom
  • Specialty dinner for two
  • 50% reduced deposits
  • $25 Beverage Card per person for kids traveling as the third and fourth guests in the same stateroom
  • Premium internet package on Verandah stateroom and suite bookings

Book by September 26 to get the deal. See Clark’s travel planning and booking guide for the best tips on stress-free travel.
