Sail from Charleston from $70 per night!
Hit the road to your next cruise! Cruise giant Carnival Cruise Line has launched its newest cruise out of the Port of Charleston, the relative backyard from many southeast cities! The drive time beats one to Miami with a duration of just under five hours from Atlanta and just over 3 from Charlotte and 2 hours from Myrtle Beach.
Carnival Sunshine just saw the completion of a $200 million makeover with the addition of the adults-only Serenity Retreat – three stories of peace and quiet – a place to escape the PowerDrencher where a bucket of water comes raining down on you when you least expect it.
Other ship highlights include multiple dining options, a rope course, a waterpark with a giant waterslide, the EA SPORTS Bar and the Guy Fieri Burger Joint. When the sun sets, guests dance and sing along at a Playlist Production where favorite tunes are brought to life by professional singers and dancers.
Carnival Sunshine will be sailing a series of four-to-11-day cruises from Charleston.
Sample per person rates (based on two sharing a cabin) include:
- 4-day Bahamas, from $279
- 5-day Bahamas, from $329
