Enjoy saving on a Christmas cruise!
Looking to enjoy Christmas on the sea? A 10-night Oceania Cruise aboard the Insignia might fit the bill if you see an intimate and quiet holiday cruise.
The Insignia will have greater appeal for groups of friends or adult traveling with their parents. With a passenger capacity of under 700, the onboard experience is more about wellness and relaxation — all while exploring the stunning islands in the deep south Caribbean chain.
The ship departs Miami on December 18 and sails to St. Barts, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico, and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas before returning to Miami on December 28.
The savings are significant with per-person rates from $1,699 Inside (reg. $8,998 or an 81% savings). Oceanview staterooms start from $1,949 (reg. $9.798 or an 80% savings off brochure rates). Balcony and Suite rates from $2,699-$3,599. These higher rates include OLife Choice cabins that come with perks such as free round-trip airfare and the option to choose from either a beverage package, six shore excursions or a $600 per cabin shipboard credit.
Otherwise, drink packages range from $39.95 per person, per day for wine, beer and Champagne during lunch and dinner to $59.95 per person, per day for unlimited drinks during bar hours.
Shore excursions are additional, although free to-town shuttles are often included at most ports. All fitness classes are complimentary onboard Insignia.
All bar and spa bills carry an additional 18% gratuity. Insignia passengers in standard staterooms are charged $16 per person, per day for tips; $23 per person, per day for suite passengers.
