Problem with a deal? Let us know.
There’s a great way to save money when you’re going on vacation and it involves not planning.
The Los Angeles TimesΒ reports a new survey finds that about three quarters of people say they’ll flex on dates and destinations of leisure travel to save money. The survey of some 2,000 respondents was conducted by a travel website called Travel-Ticker.com.
When I see a travel deal, my longtime philosophy has been to buy the deal first and then figure out why you want to go there. By doing that, I’ve gotten to visit every continent except Antarctica and every state except North Dakota. And I’ve done it on the cheap.
Allow the deal to drive the vacation. If you let the destination or the calendar drive the trip, you’ll pay more.
