Is there a Mastercard in your wallet? Pay for your next flight booked at American Airlines, AA.com, through September 30 to receive a $50 credit off a future trip. Any Mastercard will do; it doesn’t have to be an American Airlines Mastercard!

There are a couple of things to do to qualify:

  1. You must be an American Airlines AAdvantage member or sign up to become a new member.
  2. Register for this promotion in advance of your ticket purchase.

After booking your trip using your Mastercard, you will receive a code for the $50 credit off your next trip. The first 100,000 people who qualify will receive the $50 off code from November 11-25. The credit can be applied to travel from November 11 and completed on or before March 15 travel within the U.S., including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The second trip must be at least $60 plus tax and is not combinable with other offers. Limited to one discount per AAdvantage member.

Note: There doesn’t seem to be a minimum required fare amount for the first ticket purchase. And there doesn’t seem to be a travel-by date for the first ticket purchase. So why not sign up? You may soon see a ticket offer through September that you cannot refuse! For instance, one-way rates from Atlanta to Phoenix start from just $54 through October — a great autumn getaway!

Other nonstop routes from ATL include Charlotte, Chicago-O’Hare, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Miami, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and New York-LaGuardia.
