Southwest Airlines is celebrating the unofficial start of summer with a sale featuring fares from as low as $59 one-way. During the 10-day sale, score awesome deals on summer and fall travel, especially if you focus on trips during the quieter shoulder season in the weeks after Labor Day.

The best deals are nonrefundable Wanna Get Away* fares that can be had by flying between Southwest’s operating bases in cities such as Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago Midway, Dallas Love Field, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Houston Hobby, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Orlando, Phoenix and Tampa. For example, fly round-trip between Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale in September for as low as $98.

Book sale rates now through June 1 for trips you will take through June 13 and November 1. A 21-day advance purchase is required.

Mainland U.S. travel to Hawaii and Hawaii inter-island travel are discounted on travel from August 8 through November 1; and from Hawaii to the mainland and to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico for August 15 through November 1 trips.

Search for Southwest deals using their Low Fare Calendar at Southwest.com. Southwest is accepting reservations through November 4.

* Southwest offers four fares types: Business Select, Anytime, Wanna Get Away+, and Wanna Get Away. Find the fare that works for you.
