Why I Dig this Deal:

Winter's deep dark nights in Iceland make for the perfect opportunities to catch the Northern Lights!

Book cheap international flights with Wow Air!

WOW air is offering $45 one-way airfares to Iceland for only one day — Presidents Day, February 18. Land this amazing offer when departing from Newark, Boston, Detroit, and Baltimore-BWI.
The deal is valid for travel March 1 through May 31. A round-trip ticket must be purchased (expect return flights to be much higher). Be swift — only 1,000 seats are offered on select flights.

Basic one-way rates permit one personal item to bring onboard (free if it fits under the seat in front of you). Add about $100 in each direction for a seat selection and one checked bag. Passengers can purchase snacks and sandwiches on board (bottled water is $3); pre-order a meal up to 48 hours before the flight (additional cost), or bring their own food on board. The airline offers outlets for phone charging on the plane, but there is no in-flight entertainment system.

Always be mindful that WOW Airlines is a “fly without frills” airline, so carry-on bags, checked bags, meals, and seat assignments will cost extra when you book the lowest class, but this is also why the flights are so low in cost!  Keep tabs on how much you are paying for extras to prevent paying full fare prices, or consider a higher fare class for more included extras.
