Experience the cultural and culinary highlights of three of Italy’s most iconic cities β€” Rome, Florence and Venice.

This escorted trip features round-trip airfare, 4-star hotels, train tickets, guided tours and more. You’ll explore the iconic sites of Rome, Florence and Venice in a small group, plus visit hidden gems, like the quaint towns of Assisi and Orvieto.

The starting per-person rate of $1,500 (rounded up from $1,499) includes:

  • International flights from the U.S. to Rome, return from Venice
  • High-speed trains between Rome, Florence and Venice
  • 4-star hotel stays β€” 3 in Rome, 2 Florence and 2 nights Venice
  • Daily breakfast and one lunch
  • Airport/hotel transfers
  • Guided tours of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill in Rome
  • Guided walking tours in Florence and Venice
  • Stops in historic Assisi, Orvieto, Bologna and Padua along the way
  • Entrance fees per the itinerary

You can depart on select dates in August and October through December from New York, Boston, Miami and Washington DC. Add $200 per person for select April-July and September dates. Departures from other cities can be booked at higher rates. For instance, the lowest per-person rate I found from Tampa was on two departure dates β€” one in November and another in December – $1,800. From Atlanta, I spied one August date for $1,700 but the average is $1,900-$2,600 per person.

This is part of a larger sale on trips to Italy, including an 8-night tour of Sicily, Amalfi, Naples and Rome; a 9-night tour of Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan and Lake Como; and a 12-night package that adds on Cinque Terre and Geneva.

The Italian trip link will allow you to self-book β€” even the airline. Click on the Departure City box to view all of the starting rates from various airports. Once you choose an airport, the system will return what is deems as the best flight itinerary but there is the option to view more flights (see just beneath results). You will also be able to view calendars with prices for all departure dates.
