Bring prehistoric times to life for your kids!

A great new attraction just a short drive from Atlanta’s city limits will open at the end of July — the drive-through safari adventure, Jurassic Quest!

Your gang will be in for a dino-size treat as you encounter over 70 of the largest, most realistic interactive creatures from your vehicle.

  • The place: Atlanta Motor Speedway
  • The date: July 31-August 16
  • The cost: $49 per car; $80 for vehicles with 9-15 seats

Timed-entry tickets must be purchased online and include a free souvenir photo to download online. Military, medical personnel and first responders save 10% with valid ID. Time slots and hours vary by day with opening day from 11am to 8pm and other days from 9am to 8pm.

The adventure will take about an hour to drive through and you’re welcome to capture the many chills, thrills and laughs along the way on your devices. There’s also a free Jurassic Quest Audio Tour to play as you ride through the park.

After the drive-through safari, there are even more activities from inflatable mazes, a dinosaur petting zoo, craft stations and even the opportunity to see real dino fossils dating back over 60 million years.

This exhibit was originally touring as an indoor event, but due to COVID restrictions and safety measures has been moved to the outdoors. Recent reviews claim the outside experience was just as realistic and entertaining!

The Atlanta Motor Speedway is located in southwestern Henry County, about 28 miles from downtown Atlanta.

While you’re in the neighborhood, stop for a visit at the Newman Wetlands Center where you can spot more than 130 bird species or explore tree-lined paths through this 32-acre wildlife habitat. Parking and admission is free. Open Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm Note that all visitors over the age of two must wear a mask at all times.
