Save big on flights to Hawaii
If you’re able to forgive United for all the recent mishaps the company has been a part of the last several months and you live on the West Coast, you can score a deal on a flight to Hawaii!
United is offering fares to Hawaii from several West Coast cities as low as $362 round-trip. Dates range from September through December, but note that these flights will have one stop.
Fares like this normally run about $650 and up, so if you end up buying these you’ll save several hundred dollars. Search Google Flights to find your best dates. Above is a sample flight from Seattle to Maui September 6 through September 13.
To Honolulu (HNL):
- Portland (PDX) – $370
- Seattle (SEA) – $362
To Kona (KOA):
- Portland (PDX) – $362
- Seattle (SEA) – $362
To Maui (OGG):

If you don’t see your city listed, try finding a cheap fare to one of the above cities using Kayak.com/explore or Google Flights and see if it’s still a deal. Southwest Airlines often offers deals which include 2 checked bags and no change fees, and Frontier Airlines often offers one-way fares as low as $20. (Note that Southwest Airlines does not show up in Google Flights, so you’ll want to be sure to check there too!)
