Aer Lingus sale: Flights to Europe from $112 one-way

Aer Lingus — the Irish flag airline — has some very good deals for economy travel to Ireland and Europe for two seasons of travel. You’ll need to book on or before January 18.

There are three categories of Economy class to choose from. Here are the applicable one-way sample fares for March travel from New York-JFK to Manchester UK: $112 SAVER / $252 SMART / $1,142 FLEX — and if you’re curious — $1,865 one-way in Business class.

The only difference between SMART and FLEX is the eligibility for a cash refund. Worth noting: There are only two types of seating transatlantic — Economy (pitch 31–32 inches, width of 17–18 inches) and lie-flat Business Class. There is not for the time being a middle option for a more comfortable seat and pre-boarding options such as in Delta’s Comfort+.

  • Complimentary meal
  • A ticket change fee will apply along with any fare difference
