This promo, offered by the Vancouver Hotel Destination Association, offers the first night reward based on the category of hotel that you choose (the more expensive, the higher the first night reward). When you shop for accommodations, all prices are shown in Canadian Dollars ($1 Canadian Dollar = 0.76 USD).

When test driving this promo, I saw only one hotel offering a $50 reward for the first-night stay and that was the YWCA. Most hotels are rewarding $75 and up for that first night and then another $50 for each night thereafter. To get the maximum reward of $125, most hotels are pricing an average of $250 CAD and up a night.

Use promo code VISA when booking, but hotel pre-payment can be made using VISA, MasterCard, or American Express.

The VISA Reward Cards can be used the same as cash where the cards are excepted, or use them to cover the cost of the hotel stay.
