Amtrak Vacations offers savings of up to $500 for rail vacations in a private sleeper cabin for two that are booked by October 23 for vacations in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Book any 3- to 6-night rail vacation to receive $300 off; $400 on 7- to 9-night vacations; and $500 on vacations of 10 or more nights.

Some of the most popular rail vacations travel through the heart of America’s natural wonders. The round-trip Glenwood Springs Getaway from Denver is a 4-day vacation starting at $329 per person. Included is a 3-night hotel stay and a visit to Glenwood Springs and Glenwood Caverns, making it a perfect stop for the outdoor enthusiast.

The 7-day Grand Tetons and Yellowstone Rail Journey travels through the heart of the Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole before ending at Salt Lake City. Included is one-way rail travel from Chicago; 5 nights hotel accommodation, 1 night onboard Amtrak; sightseeing tours and a 5-day midsize car rental. Per person rates from $1,749.

Explore three of the most beautiful National Parks in the U.S., Yellowstone, Yosemite and the Grand Canyon, with a 13-day rail journey, round-trip from Chicago. Amtrak is waiving all change fees for reservations made by December 31. Be aware that a fare difference may apply to your new itinerary. Amtrak is also waiving all cancellation fees for reservations made by October 31. If you want to cancel your reservation without a fee, you must call 1-800-USA-RAIL and speak with an agent (not available via Amtrak.com or the Amtrak app).
