Frontier Airlines nonstop flights to Coast Rica from $151

There are still great Spring Break deals to be had, but you need to move quickly.

One of the best bargains comes from Frontier Airlines to Costa Rica on nonstop flights from Atlanta. The discount rates priced under $350 extend into early June which might make a perfect after-school getaway with the family!

Here are one-way sample rates from Atlanta (travelers will need to show proof of a return ticket upon entry):

San Jose

• $151 south April 20-May 18
• $192-$214 north April 20-June 1

Liberia/Guanacaste

• $162 south April 22-June 2
• $173-$196 north April 22-June 3

When it comes time to choose a location – jungle, beach, near the volcano? You’ll find hundreds of choices from hostels, tents, and posh hotels to all-inclusive resorts.

As to getting around: Buses are the most common way of getting around Costa Rica, and the public bus system is excellent, inexpensive, and relatively frequent, even in remote areas. This option is mostly used by backpackers and those who have time to slow-travel. Most tourists rent cars (no requirement for an international driver’s license). The country has taken big strides in road updates and repairs and it’s as easy as driving anywhere.
